Hi,
F1 has launched the 530/430 for P3Dv4, yeeeeeees!
but how to install them? The A2A configurator does not propose the F1 GNS 430/530, but only 650/750...

Hello,
we don't support the F1 4/530 for at the time of this post. Included support is for the mindstar/RXP 4/530 and the Flight1 6/750.
thanks,
Lewis

Lewis: It's okay, the Flight1 430/530 work just fine in the A2A planes.

Good to hear, but in the future we may look into proper support so you can select in the aircraft config the correct labelled GPS and it will appear in sim for you.

Lewis

OK,
i just took the panel RXP, recalled it panel. The configurator of F1 reconized the GPS and displayed it. It works good in all your plane.

Lewis, it would be great if you could build in support for the Flight1 GNS 430/530 as well, since the RXP offerings don't work with FSX:SE.
Pecquais- could you share how you got the GNS modules integrated into the 172? Thank you both.

Lewis- I didn't mean to hijack this thread, as it relates to P3D v4, but those of us who use FSX:SE would like the compatibility with the Flight1 GNS series as well. (a little project for your spare time )

Hello Justin, yes Ive noted it but I cannot be sure if this will come though for FSX.
In the meantime as mentioned you can manually make the user edits to get this working in the sim for you without having to wait a potential GNS update.
thanks,
Lewis

Re: Flight 1 GNS 530/430 pack v2 for P3Dv4.
Justin,
It should just be a case of manually editing the panel.cfg to change the gauge name to reflect the title of the F1 gauge rather than its RXP equivalent. I believe the F1 product also has an installation manger which could do steps 2-3 below.
1. Use the A2A aircraft configurator to select the RealityXP option for GNS 430, 530 or both as required.
2. Open the "panel.cfg" (e.g. F:\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\A2A_C172\panel\panel.cfg) with Notepad and search for "rxpGNS!" then, where found, replace these entries with the equivalent part of the F1 gauge name. (I don't own the F1 products so not sure what the gauge is called but I'd guess it's just "F1GNS!".)
3. Save then "panel.cfg" file with your edits then open FSX.
Cheers,
Nick

Just worth pointing out that the new RXP V2 GNS gauges work with all version of FSX and P3D and add quite a few features not found in the F1 gauges.justin48 wrote:[...] since the RXP offerings don't work with FSX:SE.
