Heading bug not working?

Post by kberg »

Hi,

I am using FSX Steam edition. I have FSUIPC add-on.

I am trying to get my A2A C172 trainer up and running, but am having trouble my heading bug, but it wont move. The hand becomes visible, but it does not have a + or - in it, and it will not move it the heading bug in either direction. It works fine in the stock C172. Actually, any of the functions that involve + or - in the hand will not move. The hand can turn on/off switches, start the engine, etc.

Any idea what the problem is?

Thanks,

Kent.

Put the mouse pointer over it and use the mouse wheel. A lot of the rotary knobs on A2A planes require the use of the mouse wheel.

Hi Kent,

With the A2A add-ons, you'll generally need to use the mouse scroll wheel to adjust knobs like the heading bug. Click-and-drag should work too for some knobs, including the heading bug.

Thanks,
Nick

Edit... Too slow on the draw!

Thanks, Sarge and Nick,

I think it works better that way :D .

Yes - in bumpy air it's definitely easier to use the mouse wheel rather than trying to click on two small and closely-positioned spots on the panel. :)

Cheers,
Nick

Yes a simply up and down with a finger scroll is a lot easier than a click and drag across a screen hehe. Also the moue scroll is a default feature too.

thanks,
Lewis
