P3D V4 C172 radiostack don't work

Hi,
i have installed the C172 on P3Dv4 for several weeks and everething worked fine until today.
I installed the new SIMstarter-NG and from then on the radiostack in my C172 don't work anymore.
I don't think the Simstarter has to do somthing with the problem; the other A2A aircrafts (C182, Cherokee and Comanche) have no problem.

I uninstalled the C172, deleted the existing directory's, restarted P3Dv4 (withoth C172), after that reinstalled the C172, buth the problem is still there.
The radiostack stays dark
The GPS works well.

I installed all the A2A aircrafts on the drive where i have installed P3Dv4 (D:\Erik\Mijn documenten\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\A2A\.....)
it worked al well until today

any sugestion ?

Did you check the circuit breakers? I can't remember if there is on dedicated to the radio stack, but it's definitely worth to have a look.

yes, all circuitbreakers where on.
And after a reinstall they are by defauld all on i presume.

Hi Erik,

Reinstalling won't necessarily revert the aircraft state to default because the log.dat file which records this information remains.

Please can you try the 'RESET' option in the shift 3 menu. (Or manually delete the *C182Slog.dat file in "My Documents\A2A\FSX\Cessna182".)

If this doesn't help, I suspect it's possible that SIMstarter is somehow preventing SimConnect or the C182.dll from being loaded properly. You'd need to load P3D in the normal way, start a flight with a simple default aircraft then switch to the Skylane to confirm this.

Yes, you might want to check with simstarter support also if its preventing correct loading, but I wonder if its more a setting somewhere as I believe other users are using simstarter ok.

OK, this is wath i found.
The problem is situated by loading any A2A plane with SIMstarter NG.
Once P3Dv4 loaded via SIMstarter NG the radios for any A2A plane will work; reloading the A2A plane resolves the roblem, the radios work well in all A2A planes

I thought the problem could be by loading DLL files.

by editing the DLL.XML and EXE.XML files from PRDv4 i see NO DLL related file to A2A.

when i compare with my FSX installation i see 2 topics in DLL.XML:
A2A Service A2A\Shared\A2A_Service.dll
A2A Feel Modules\A2A_Feel.dll

in my PRDv4\Modules folder i see no A2A related DLL files !

Any sugestion where i can search ?

Yes - the module that allow the radios and other avionics to functions is this one:

...A2A\SimObjects\Airplanes\A2A_C172\panel\C172.dll.

Ok guys, find a solution.
Starting P3Dv4 to the scenarios screen, out of SIMstarter NG, and then starting the scenario out of P3Dv4 makes that the planes load well.
So i yhink it's a little bug in SIMstarter, for me it's all clear now.
