Inclinometer does not move when banking turns

Post by deansalman »

When I push the rudder left or right the small ball moves correctly. However, when I make a hard turn this does not move and stays in the center. I am practicing coordinator turns and notice this. Did not try the C182 yet

The ball should leave the gate while rolling, but generally will come back to the center when the roll is stopped even with the wings in a bank. The 172 is not going to require much input on the rudder pedals at cruise airspeeds.

Now if you were too go into slow flight or a climb at high power and lower airspeed such as Vy for takeoff, you should find that more rudder input is required wings level or in turns

Ok thanks, I will try that. Just practicing what I am learning in school. Just saw the video on the Comanche 250, looks like a nice add one for me.

Also, confirm that auto-rudder is off in realism settings.
