Bumpy taxiways/runways

Post by dancemad2 »

Hey all,

Just installed a fresh version of P3D v4 on a fresh hard drive with the C172 trainer as my only addon. Using Windows 10 64bit, GTX 780 Ti.

the AC on taxi's and runways acts as if I am 'off road' and not on concrete. All else seems fine. This is several airfields attempted

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Michael

If you bumps and creaks as you taxi that is perfectly normal and very realistic.

Thanks you for your reply.

I am used to there being quite a difference when taxiing on taxiways/runways and taxiing off road. There is no difference when leaving concrete.

Hmm, I've never found the sim to model a difference in "bumpiness" when on off concrete/asphalt aside from there being more friction. Maybe P3D introduces this, but I don't have P3D.
