Default GPS for 172 in P3Dv4

I have both the 172 and 182 and am running them in P3Dv4.
For the 172, the gps has no display, does not power on and when I press Shift-3 to bring up the menu the gps appears as the GTN 650 (which I know is not v4 compatible) and it appears that the 650 is what is appearing in the panel. But in the Aircraft Configurator Default is what is selected. Even if I change to one of the other gps options GTN650 still remains in the Controls window.

I am not having this problem with the 182 and a bit perplexed.
Any thoughts?

are you only running P3Dv4 on your system? Any other platforms?

I have V3 and v4 loaded. When the 172 was released I uninstalled the 172 (and 182 for that matter) and reinstalled both.
I am only having this issue with the 172.
I'm thinking I should uninstall it and see if it happens again.
