P3dv4 - Unable to add camera views

Post by mokeiko »

I am using OpusFSI to create camera views. One of the requirements is that aircrafts be installed in the main M:\Preapr3dv4\Simobjects\Airplanes directory. This has always been the case until Prepar3d v4 made changes to how and where developers install outside of the simulator. M: is my SSD where Prepar3d resides. A2A installs it's aircrafts in the C:\users\*******\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons directory. C: is my SSD where my OS resides. As you can see I have a problem because the A2A_C172 folder is 5 folders deep in a different directory. Moving the folder to the M: SSD makes no difference because the A2A_C172 folder is still 5 folders deep. How do I fix this?

Thanks for any help

Hello,

it sounds like you are trying to use an older add-on in P3Dv4 following old SDK's for a previous platform. You will want to wait for the developer to update for the new P3Dv4 and its new SDK platform.

thanks,
