Cannot toggle panel GPS/NAV switch

Hello!

For some reason I cannot toggle between NAV mode and GPS mode with the panel switch. I can activate and see the GPS but not slave to it...This is on P3D V4 platform btw..

Hello Jon,

Which GPS? If you're using the default GPS 295 (the on mounted on the window with a suction cup) then it's not connected to the aircraft's avionics at all so the button will be 'inop'.

The fancy Garmin GTN add-ons are, but switching between GPS and NAV is accomplished via the GPS interface, so again, the panel mounted switch should be 'inop'.

Hello,

yes Nick is correct the handheld 295 is just suction mounted and not connected to any device. The in dash one however is. We will support third party GPS as we have in FSX and P3Dv2-3 once the producers of the third party GPS add support for the new P3Dv4 platform.
