autopilot VS not working

Can someone please tell what am i doing wrong?

As you can see, i have no problem activating the AP, setting HDG, the VS was working and all of a sudden come off, and refused to work properly after

After arming the AP, i let the stick go, but the plane clearly doesnt stop at VS 400!!

Hi Francois,

It looks like the aircraft is just hopelessly out of trim before you engage the autopilot. In other words, it seems you're holding the stick hard forward to keep the nose from rising and then when you engage the autopilot and let the stick go, the simulated servomotors just can't react quickly enough. (Because the yoke is turned off, it's hard to be absolutely sure how much control pressure you're exerting.)

As with the real thing, you'll need to make sure the aircraft is reasonably well trimmed before you engage the AP.
