I have an issue with a tach gauge in airmanager and the virtual cockpit not reading same values. I have posted in Air Manager forum the following.....
Any help would be appreciated......
I'm new to this and also lua script. I have just build a C172 Cockpit. Win 7 with P3D v3.4. I was testing it out with the C172 Panel before I start to customize it to what I want.....Using A2A C172.
The Tach does not read the correct hours or rpm's...... The needle in air manager tops out at about 1600 and then starts to fall again. I have watched this against the rpm's in the virtual cockpit. When the actual rpm's (in virtual cockpit) are under 1000 Air manager is reading high (about 100 rpm's more). Once it increases past 1000 rpm air manager reads less and less. Topping out at about 1300 rpm when virtual cockpit is at 1700. Beyond this air manager shows a decrease in rpm,s. When on full throttle 2300-2500 air manager reads about 1100-1200 rpm's.
This is with the C172 tach gauge in the downloaded C172 panel and also the C172 gauge downloaded separate.
I have also tried with the piper and 152 Tach gauges which top out at 600 rpm and the engine hours read 8.1 instead of 55.1 the MD8 gauge doesn't work at all.....
I also tried the hobbs gauge (texan A2A version) which reads incorrectly too......
I assume this is an A2A problem but have no idea where to start to look to fix it or how...???????
Please see below thread for full details on the replies which I don't really understand.....

Hello,
you will need to map the variables we use from the link community member Oracle427 posted too. We use our own custom variables for the correct readings that allow us to simulate things not already in the sim or correct issues inherent with the basic platform coding using our own Accu-sim simulation technology.
thanks,
Lewis
