No sound in C172 on P3D

I have recently installed the C172 on P3D and there's no sound. I did a bit of research, updated everything to the latest patch, volume is on 100%, the "realtek high definition audio speaker" is the only sound device that I have got and still there's no sound. well I mean I can hear a small background buzz after launching the game but there's no sound when I click on the buttons nor in the repair hangar. All the other default aircrafts in P3D are working fine. Does anyone know what I should do?

You can try a simconnect install using this;
http://a2asimulations.com/public/downlo ... onnect.msi

Run this and then restart your computer.

just wondered, is this for p3d? it says microsoft flight simulator X on the tin

and there's an error when i attempt to run the application

So long as you purchase the P3D version you should be good.
