During a flight in the 172 at weekend I decided to try a direct flight using the gps. I pressed the DIRECT button and used the mouse to select the airport code. Once I had the ACTIVATE? option flashing I couldn't find out how to activate the route? Whatever I clicked just took me back to a blank page. Any ideas most welcome.

Re: Gns 400 question
Pressing the "Enter" button (maybe more than once) on the GPS unit works for me.
Re: Gns 400 question
Thanks. That's what I thought but just clears the page? Will try again though.

Re: Gns 400 question
Hello,
if its the 400 then its just the default FSX GPS so it operates exactly the same. Set your destination and then click the ent button, I believe twice to activate if memory serves me correctly.
thanks,
Lewis

When you say "it just clears the page", can you be a bit more specific? When you switch to map view, does the magenta line not show up?
Btw, setting an airport in the "direct to" page will not automatically dial in the same airport in the "airport info" page.
What I generally do is select the desired airport on the info page first (will need the information there later anyway), then press direct (it should already have your just selected airport in there as well) and then press "ent" twice. Then I switch back to map view and Bob's my uncle.
