172 Nav1 Nav2 audio turn off on kma26

Hi everyone!

I found the answer to this the other day, but I forgot to bookmark it and I've tried to find it all day today.

So, I'm trying to get the NAv1 and nav2 buttons on the audio selector on the kma26 to turn off through use of physical switches
Com1 and com2, I've nailed, and work beautifully by use of some cheeky conditional use of the "both"
It's done on Arduino, and most of it has just worked with fsuipc and mobiflight.

Nav1 and nav2 I am able to turn on, but not turn off. DME and markers all work fine.

I've tried all sorts, through many routes.
I've tried all the various combinations of
RADIO_VOR1_IDENT_DISABLE
RADIO_VOR1_IDENT_Enable
RADIO_VOR1_IDENT_toggle

I have also tried making these and the same
I also then researched lvars and got them working okay via FSUIPC and tried with this but the same again, I can only make it turn on, never off.

L:kma26Nav1Switch=Set.

I have tried many options with setting to 0 or to 1. 1 makes it come on. But 0 does not make it go off.

Any suggestions, please?

One minor update.

Using the lvar mentioned above when I push it, the light instantaneously goes off for a split second, but instantly comes back on.
It's as if something else is telling it to be on.

Hi Nick,

That looks like it could be it.
Seems like I have to make it do multiple things on one press, then.
Hmm. Don't know how to do that!
