C-172 - P3D V2.3 FSUIPC Problem

Hi,

I'm currently running the C-172 in P3D V2.3 with FSUIPC and all had been well and good until I registered FSUIPC, now I get no response to control inputs and get a message at the top of the screen stating that a SimConnect error has been detected and the connection will be restarted.

Every other aircraft works fine and I've uninstalled and reinstalled the C-172 to no avail.

Any thoughts?

Hello,

First recheck all your mappings and FSUIPC settings. Also check that where possible you are mapping using the included A2A joystick config program.

FSUIPC has a support forum it's worth giving Pete a shout on there too as he might have some thoughts on the changes between the two FSUIPC's that might need resetting.

Hi Lewis,

I've not set up any bindings so far, my other aircraft seem to be unaffected and are still running on P3D default controls.

I've had a look at the included A2A binding program and that doesn't appear to give me an option to bind the primary flight controls?

An uninstall/reinstall of the C172 and update has had no effect.

As an addendum to this, after a quick wipe and re-install of P3D it worked just fine, suspect that something got corrupted on the way through all the various addons. And as a side effect, my RealAir aircraft now have sound, so wins all round
