ACFT Move with parking break set at 1000rpm warming up
Re: ACFT Move with parking break set at 1000rpm warming up
I also have this. It creeps enough warming up at 1000rpm that I'll be out of the parking marker if I don't issue a push back halfway through warmup.
Re: ACFT Move with parking break set at 1000rpm warming up
In honestly thing that our problem is that…. the A2A model is so accurate and realistic that now we wait for the engine to warming up… what we didn't do in the past with traditional models.. So the existing FSX bug was not sensitive to us… until A2A came with our C172 immersion …
So let's look how to solve this ( forums have plenty of explanation but until now no solution proposed worked for me )

Re: ACFT Move with parking break set at 1000rpm warming up
To the best of my knowledge, there is no way to fix this. It happens with all aircraft in FSX and it is a "feature" of FSX.

Disagree. None of the other A2A planes creep on me while warming up.

Its not an agree or disagreement situation its a known BUG that aircraft will creep under brakes under certain conditions, power settings under which the aircraft should be stationaryEric. wrote:Disagree. None of the other A2A planes creep on me while warming up.

Re: ACFT Move with parking break set at 1000rpm warming up
I have the CH Pro Pedals, no FSUIP. Loaded the C172 into both FSX and P3DV2.0, only parking brake on and get no creep at 1000RPM. I can do the run-up at 1800RPM and still no creep in either sim.
EDIT: Forgot to add that the pedals are calibrated through the CH Control Manager.

I hate to revisit an old topic but has anyone solved the creep issue in the last 3 years? My plane creeps at idle.Mazo wrote:I have the CH Pro Pedals, no FSUIP. Yep, there is no resolution for this. You will get this with every airplane in FSX, stock or otherwise.

And in P3D as well.
Re: ACFT Move with parking break set at 1000rpm warming up
In real life, you never rely on the parking brake ( and it's brake not break), to hold your aircraft. I always kept my feet on the brakes when I didn't want the aircraft to move.

Strangely, ever since I switched from FSX boxed to FSX:SE, I've never had that creeping again. Did they solve this issue with the steam edition?

I don't believe so as I still get it in FSX:SE and its also relevant in P3D too.

Weird, though, that I don't get it...

Oliver, I'm on Steam, as well, and have noticed the same thing! Very strange...but good. I haven't played around with any "dodgy" edits since I downloaded Steam, so it is something organic that I haven't forced.
