Squawkbox mode c

Hi, I fly online with the 172 and I was wondering if it would be possible to get the transponder mode to work with SB?

I'm not familiar with Squawkbox. What would be required?

There is special FSUIPC offsets for it. If it is at all a pain it's fine the way it is.. I flew the NGX for almost 2 years straight without it.. I can change to mode c or ident from the menu but it's kind of cool in some add-on's when you can change transponder mode from the VC

Vatsim has a new pilot client in the works maybe that one will work different.

BTW How is that new update coming? really excited to try the new physics when that is ready.

Rehashing an old topic, but has anyone figured this one out? Would love to use the transponder modes and ident direct from the transponder with Vatsim and Pilotedge as opposed to making the changes with the client software.

We would have to use FSUIPC programming interface to do that, and we don't use it currently at all.

Vatsim really needs a new client app with modern interfaces.

Also think of IVAO users- the task seems to be quite the same. And the IVAP software will not change in the near future. Come on- I'd pay 5$ extra

Much agreed! Following the Vatsim forums, there does seem to be at least 2 projects commencing towards this goal so perhaps there's hope. I have no insight on IVAO.

after reading the threads here and on the VATSIM forum I adapted lua script for A2A C172.
now only need to use a transponder in the cockpit.
I will do a little later for the Cherokee
