Strange behavior with FSRealWx

While running FSRealWX, I have had very strange events during preflight where the aircraft will be blown backwards into the air with the tiedowns still attached. After the first couple of times this happened, I decided to turn off the weather by clearing all weather in FSRealWx and restarting the flight. The problem still occurred a minute or two into the preflight checklists. The airplane goes airborne with lots of wind noise and nasty low level aerobatics. The AI goes from 0 to 130 KIAS sometimes and swings by 50+ kts from one second to the next.

The Mx guy has been making a fortune off me with all the repairs I have been making!

Finally, I ?()^ down FSRealWX and the problem ceased. When you get some capacity to look into these types of compatibility issues with other products, I'd appreciate your assistance.

I have heard of occasional glitchiness with massive wind jumps in FSrealwx. I don't think this can be attributed to the 172 at all as I have used REX and FS Global Real Weather for a few hours without a single issue.

I have never experienced this glitchiness in FSRealWx and I can reproduce it on every flight. If I switch to the A2A Cub, or any other airplane for that matter, I have no problems whatsoever.

Like I said, it can wait for the future. I like this utility as it mimics local Wx conditions very well in my experience.

Having seen some other posts about FSUIPC integration, I decided to set FSRealWx to only use Simconnect instead of both Simconnect and FSUIPC. This solved the problem for me.
