window view

Hi,

When looking out the left window, are we not supposed to see the main landing gear ?

In FSX with the default view I don't see it, what does a C172 pilot see from his viewpoint ?

IRL, if I lean left a little the wheel and about 1/2 the gear arm can be seen. I can't see any of it unless I lean left a little.
