Report - Zero Ground Movement With Full Power

Post by Capt Richardo »

A couple of times now ive had zero movement even under full power.

First time it happend was a dead stick landing, re-started after landing and no movement even with full power on runway (uk2000 eggd, orbx england scenery).

Second time shut down after a normal flight with no issues, engine started .. Full power and no movement. I did notice vac issue as no artificial horizon, in outside view prop did not seem to be right for full power nor did the sound sound correct.

Nothing i could do would make it roll, tried varios brake combos, after a re-set flight all ok.

Not a massive issue for me but does need looking in to.

I had a VAC problem too. It was today. And I also had an electrical problem, no radio/AP would come up. The electrical issues I had (working avionics with battery OFF) were solved by taking out the FSUIPC battery life extender (only for registered FSUIPC copies). If you have a registered one of that, check it out it may solve the other issues as well.
