Scott's HOTFIX - Completely cures Clickspot failure for me

If you haven't already PM's Scott for the HOTFIX, you may want to as it completely cured the clickspot issue for me.

My clickspots were failing after 2 or 3 mins, but with the Hotfix applied even after 30 mins of using the Pre-Flight, all other windows, swapping the GPS's out a few times, going to Windowed Mode and Back to Full screen, using TrackIR, using Opus Cameras ........... no clickspot failure.

I've declared the problem fixed on my 172, and I'm very happy.

Further 20 minute flight made after reboot and again, no clickspot failures at all....... just lovely flying!

Again used all of the features that I suspected were causing the clickspot failures anf again, no problems since the HOTFIX!

Strangely, the VC clickspots have always worked and never stopped working, only the externals have never worked.

In what way do you mean they don't work? Are you clicking and holding the items in question (such as flaps)? What is your expectation? I hope you do not take that as rude, but I want to be sure that your expectations are met with how it was simulated.

@ mavrocket - You've gotten confused here, on how these work.........there are no external clickspots...... you perform the pre-flight checks by dragging the items that are shown on the Pre-Flight Pop up, not on the aircraft's external model.


NB.... Update: Another 3 hours of successful flying with no loss of clickspots at all, post-HOTFIX.

I am also interested in trying the hotfix, longtime lurker here for the P-40 and P-51D but first time poster so can't PM people yet...

If someone from A2A wouldn't mind PMing the hotfix link I would love to try it.
