Everything else on this controller is file, spectacles, throttle, mixture, trim wheel, plus most switches with the exceptions being the actual Starter part of the keyswitch (I've read of this elsewhere, along with the fix, I think).

Thanks

The C172 uses the standard FSX controls that are normally mapped to "F6" and "F7".
Those are the Flaps Decrement and Flaps Increment functions.

You can assign an axis in FSUIPC and set it to use "zones" and send the appropriate "F6" or "F7"
equivalent FSX commands when the zones are entered from each direction.

I have done this on a couple of aircraft but for the C172 I just use my 'standard' "A" and "B" switches
on my X-45 stick to increment or decrement the flaps with each click.

Ditto on the Desktop Aviator Cessna fuel selector. I can't seem to find anything to map it to,
FSUIPC or LVARS.

I'm using "L:Eng1_FuelCutOffSwitch" set to TOGGLE via my FSUIPC MCRO file. You can also send
a parameter of "1" or "0" to set the state via the FSUIPC controls menu setup.

How do I disable FSUIPC battery management?

At present in the FSUIPC UI it is set to 1; this is default - is this the correct setting?

Thanks
Kind Regards and Thanks

I'm away from my computer but I think there is a check box above the battery one that allows you to enable/disable it in fsuipc. I'll check once I get home.

Heck yeah! Won't be long and we can put FSX back in the box and pull it out every now and then and reminisce much like FS9.
