Hi Guys
First Off - No messing about, straight up, the C172 is Sensational; an absolutely fantastic add-on
Thank you A2A.
Ok so my interest is in a cockpit:
Are all the switches and functions of the C172 available to control through FSUIPC?
Also re the gauges - if I get Flight Illusion Gauges (which get their data from FSUIPC) am I to assume they will not work the same (eg. On cranking, the ammeter drops to show discharge) as your VC gauges?
As this add-on is for Training and the Prepar3d platform as well as entertainment (like PMDG did) will you release an SDK so as someone like Pete Dowson can write everything into FSUIPC?
Kind Regards
Andrew

Re: Cockpit Builders
Hello Andrew,
I'm not familiar with the Flight Illusion gauges but I suspect you will be
able to use them, perhaps with some massaging of data via Lua scripts.
As to the availability of the switches and functions for interfacing via
FSUIPC, based on previous Accu-Sim aircraft I would think that they
will be accessible. I use FSUIPC to map my flight controls and hardware
buttons and switches for all my A2A aircraft.
As I am away from my sim computer at the moment, I can't double-check
the variables but you can list them with FSUIPC.
Perhaps one of the code guys will post here in this thread.
As to an SDK, I can't answer that. In the past I have helped some folks
with their sim pit programming for the Spitfire and B-17G. Help can oftgen
be found here in the forums.

Re: Cockpit Builders
The C172 is no different than previous A2A airplanes. It should be possible but requires some custom scripts to write and read variables.
