Oh, a car handbrake can be VERY effective, just look how to do a handbrake turn... :)

"Effective" perhaps, but not efficient. A handbrake turn requires the car to be thrown sideways and the rear wheels to be locked with the handbrake, thus spinning the car around and using the sideways motion to scrub off the speed. Try stopping in a straight line though with only the handbrake functioning.

Anyway, nothing to do with FSX being a creepy sim :roll:
