Fuel drain under the engine.

Post by Caldemeyn »

Hi

I have a question/suggestion :)

Would it be right to add the drain lock feature there when the fuel shutoff valve is pulled ? :)

Hi Caldemeyn,

Actually, when no fuel tank is selected, the drain icon is greyed out.

In the 172 there is no such setting as no tank :) there is only left, right or both, plus shut off valve, you are talking about 182

btw in the 182 there is no grey out as well when off is selected.

Hahah, sorry mate it's the newest plane the Bonanza V35 I was referring. It has such a feature. Misread the thread group.
May be they will implement that to older models too one day.

Sorry - missed this one Caldemeyn.

Once we've finished chasing down little gremlins with the Bonanza release, we can maybe look into whether this would be an appropriate feature to add to the Cessnas with a future update.

Thanks,
Nick
