Cesna 172 -N model request!
Can someone create or model the C172 -N model I was looking around the internet looking for one and I could not find one. I am currently training in real life in a C172-N model and I wanted to know if there was one or if A2A could create one. Tho the -R model does take you far it does not replicate the -n model just lookin around.
Re: Cesna 172 -N model request!
I find the handling of the R model to be very similar to the N model both with the 160HP and 180HP versions.
The one exception is the limit of the flap travel. The Ns I flew were adjusted to limit to 30 degrees, so I never experienced the big barn door airbrake effect.
Is this what you are seeking as all else is fairly close.
All that said, I think it is unlikely to see this development as A2A models out specific airframes with a high level of fidelity and another 172 won't be a big seller.

Re: Cesna 172 -N model request!
The best 172 on the market is A2A’s, and Oracle is spot on. I can not recommend it enough, especially for pilot training.
I highly doubt A2A will ever build a N model.
IF you must have an N model, Carenado has one, but it’s showing it’s age, and they’re a company that has never been known for their fidelity.

And one more thing about the A2A 172. I fly this thing regularly to practice IFR procedures. It is awesome for this and I can go and jump into the real aircraft (172SP) and just do the same thing. My CFII says to keep flying the sim because it shows. Big money saver.
It perfectly replicates attitudes, power settings, turn rates bank angles, airspeeds, etc. When I fly the approaches in sim and RL, I an faced with the exact same tasks, challenges and behaviors.

Adding to what he said, A2A’s model is used by Redbird simulations if I recall correctly. You’re just not going to find a better 172 out there, period.
Re: Cesna 172 -N model request!
Carenados c172m has a pretty good flight model. I find it flies more like an N model than the A2A. Aside from that it’s garbage but I did use it hand in hand with the A2a c172 while going for my private.

I fly an 172SP and a 172N and A2A's are pretty much spot on.
