Sometimes when I am flying, I try to move, for example, the heading bug or anything else but it has no effect?
Also, unable to activate the autopilot?
Any assistance appreciated, thank you

Re: Unable to click/turn any items.
Turn the landing lights to “standard†in the aircraft configuration tool that’s provided with it. When the lights are set to advanced illumination it sometimes is the case that you have issues with the clickspots.

Thank you
When I try to change the "custom" to default it does not do it. Custom stays highlighted?

Ok I managed to change it to standard in the cfg file but it did not fix my problem?
Thanks again

Re: Unable to click/turn any items.
Well you really should be able to change it in the aircraft config manager. If you don’t change it there the changes that you manually perform in the cfg file will probably be overwritten when you start the sim and the aircraft loads.
You did run the latest Accusim update correct?

Yes always make sure to run the updater.

Mhh weird. Are you unable to switch between options on other A2A plane configurators? The C182 or the Comanche for example?
Maybe Nick and/or Lewis can chime in here?

Re: Unable to click/turn any items.
Hello Norm,
The issue with being unable to use the mouse to manipulate certain controls could be related to the camera add-on you mentioned in your other thread. Specifically, if the camera software places your 'eye point' within the geometry of the 3-D model, clickspots won't be available.
Typically this happens if your eye point is shifted backwards a bit so that it's actually inside the seat headrest.
For the Aircraft Configurator option, it might be worth right clicking and selecting "run as administrator".
Finally, to engage the autopilot you need to press and hold the 'AP' switch for at least 0.25 seconds (so a slightly prolonged mouse click). This is a safety feature of the real KAP 140.
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Unable to click/turn any items.
Hi Nick
That makes a lot of sense and, by the way, I realized the need for a delay when powering up the AP.
The camera software I am using is Chaseplane ( I was using ezdok). Indeed, as I have found out, these additional eye candy
conveniences certainly also bring quite a few painstaking side effects? (especially Chaseplane while it is still basically in a beta mode)
Thank you again for taking the time to respond.
