Oil Temp at 192 degrees
How fast can that tear up the lycoming engine? I did tried overloaded with 100F and it approached that until I came down. on plane no CHT

CHT of 192 is barely warm, not sure how you are keeping it that cool. You may get lead fouling with CHTs that low.

There are four CHT temp gauges on the 172 I fly, I didn't even think about the A2A one here. Thanks for updating the post to clarify which temp you are talking about. I knew it was the oil temp anyway, but was trying to make a point to be the specific on your post.
Anyway, an oil temp of 192 isn't all that bad. If you start going north of 200 you are very likely overheating the engine as the high oil temp is a symptom of high CHT. Oil may start to breakdown much more quickly as you approach 240 degrees, but the engine will be very hot by then.
High CHTs don't result in instant breakdown, but they will shorten the life of the engine over time. I aim to keep the oil temp around the 180 area.
