C172 printable checklist

From the A2A manual I took the checklist data and converted those to a handy printable ‘in cockpit’ booklet. Take thick paper or thin cardboard to print and the ideal finishing comes with a wire-o-binding.

Here is another checklist design, one that I used for the actual 172 I flew in for years. It's double sided and can be printed on a single 8.5x11 page. If you print it and laminate it, it makes a great tool in the cockpit.

I modified it so it should matches up with the speeds and procedures for the sim.

Thought I'd throw it up there since I grabbed the OP's checklists too.

This great how you set this up, were do you buy the binding? How did you make the set for printing the check list? Again this was great.

Hey Matt81,

The way I made the booklet is:
1. Print the pdf pages A4 single sided
2. Cut along the coloured edges
3. Stack in the right order
4. Punch the holes and put in the wire-o-binder

The wire-o I did by myself, but any printshop could help you out here. An alternative is after punching a few holes to put (key)rings through the holes instead of the wire-o.

Just give it a try,

Regards erikx

Thanks a lot I tried marketing one last night with just two holes in the top and tied it with thick string.
It works ok but I want one like yours  so I'm going to go to a print shop like you said.
Maybe you could make one for the accu-sim planes this great? I hope you make one for the new piper when it comes out at least!
Thanks, Matt

what do you mean in your checklist by "Hobbs ... RECORD"?

Hobbs Meter = Hour Meter (p. 80 #23, A2A C172 Pilot's Manual)

RW, you record the start and end times, so the FBO knows what to charge you for flight time.
