Hi everybody!
On 8. June 2017 I brought A2A Cessna 172 for P3DV4 and downloaded the installer.
(Size is 221MB - 232.189.693 Bytes)
I use Windows 10 64 bit and P3DV4 Version 4 (not 4.1)
In the beginning i did not realized, that there is a Maintenance Hangar & Lloyd & Fuel Panel,
I was wandering why sometimes the engine didn't start and I was not able to refuel, so I did a reinstallation...
But yesterday I read about these tools and were unable to open them in flight with Shift + 2 , Shift + 3 , ...
Then I read in the forums, thats it is important do stop all firewall and antivirus programs while installing
and to have simconnect installed.
This ist what I did:
1. I deactivated all Windows Firewalls
2. I installed all Simconect Versions from the P3D/reddist folder (ESPv1 / FSX-RTM / FSX - SP1 / FSX - SP2 - XPACK)
3. I installded A2A Cessna 172 in the Documents folder / P3D V4 Add-ons
When I open P3D and the A2A 172 nothing happened wir Shift +2 to Shift + 7
What did I miss?
Thanks
Enrico

Re: P3Dv4/ Win10/64 - I can not open Maintenance Hangar
Hello,
first thing to check before the steps you have tried would be to simply ask if the pop up panels work on the default aircraft?
shift 1-9 are default keys to bring up the 2d panels.
thanks,
Lewis

Re: P3Dv4/ Win10/64 - I can not open Maintenance Hangar
Hi Lewis!
Thanks for your reply.
The Panels did not show up with the default aircraft, so I got the Idea, that it had to do
with the P3D "Controls" Settings.
When I installed EZCA I deleted all shortcuts in the "Controls" menu and activated just the few I needed.
So, I saved my "Controls" settings and put them to default and now it worked
and the "maintenence hanger" showed up.
I loaded my "Controls" settings again and connected "Panel window 1 (to 9) (display/hide)"
to Shift 1-9.
Thanks for help!
Best regards
Enrico

Great to hear Enrico, I would highly advise against deleting all controls as you could be often running into little things like this, causing more time troubleshooting and mapping controls over actual sim flying.
thanks,
Lewis
