GPS

Post by ncngrr »

I'm new to P3D and v4. I have some experience with FSX:SE. In FSX:SE, I could open the GPS and resize it on my monitor so that I can use it easily. Inside the A2A C172, the GPS seems to be a little part of the overall radio stack. Is there a way to get the same look/feel as the FSX:SE GPS, but in P3Dv4?

Thanks.

I Have 3 monitors and simply just clicking on the GPS will open it in another window. I then Resize the window as necessary and move it if necessary. Then each time you click on it, it will pop up where you placed it.

Is this what you’re asking?

I thought that was a possibility, but when I select New View>Cockpit>GPS/Radio Stack, I still see it vc mode. Am I missing something? Thanks?

You need to click on the GPS unit itself using the mouse pointed to pop it out, exactly as TBryson2 said.
