C 172 revisted

Post by bobsk8 »

I haven't flown the C 172 in ages. Moved to the Cherokee and then the Comanche, the AT6 and then the Connie. Watched a Youtube Video tonight by Matt Davis, and decided to get the C 172 out of the hangar, an aircraft that I flew quite a bit in real life. Took me forever to get it started, but once I got it going, I flew around South Florida where I got my license years ago, and I think I will be flying it on Vatsim starting tomorrow. Reminds me of the good old days when I flew it in real life.

Right now I am flying on Vatsim from Ogden Utah to Rock Springs. Little slower than the Connie 8) . Autopilot works great in this aircraft. never had one in the real 172's I flew.

Wound up flying the C 172 5.4 hours on Vatsim today. What a great aircraft.
