How do I do a walkaround in FSX steam ?
Re: Walkaround
Do you mean the preflight inspection? Just open the shift + 8 panel and click.rodders47 wrote:How do I do a walkaround in FSX steam ?
Please although check the manual for details and many useful information.

Re: Walkaround
Hello,
yes as gulredrel posts its shift + 8.
Your manual is under your Start Button > All Programs > A2A Simulations.
If ever in doubt just post on the forums, happy flying,
thanks,
Lewis

Re: Walkaround
Something I find quite useful: instead of clicking on the walkaround screen you can also go to the next step by typing the A key. This is the default key for the next view in a specific group of views and as soon as you open the walk around screen it works for that too. This makes going through all steps a lot easier: you can simply keep your mouse above the icons at the bottom of the screen to check things and move on more quickly by simply typing A: no need to drag the mouse up and click on that (very) tiny little arrow. Shift-A to go back also works.
And another tip: I like to set chocks etc. myself manually using the walkaround screen. Feels more real. And to make this easier you can also click on the dots on the picture of the plane at the top of the screen: this will move you directly to the desired view: you do not have to scroll through all of them if not needed. Obviously you can also do this during the pre-flight walkaround.
