Hello,
I just have a quick question about how the simulation records time and applies it to the wear and tear of the aircraft.
Is it purely based on system time when I boot FSX up?
What if I change the date through "Time and Season" within FSX to a month later. Will this be reflected in the wear calculations or will it still reference the current system time?
Thanks.
Question about Accu-Sim logging hours between sessions

Re: Question about Accu-Sim logging hours between sessions
Thanks, Lewis.
Is it possible to know which file the A2A C172 uses to keep track of the time? There are some moments (roleplay and imagination) where I want to simulate the wear and tear of not using it for a while but I still want to practice with it almost everyday.

Yes, it's a *.dat file in your "My Documents" directory.Esparko wrote:Is it possible to know which file the A2A C172 uses to keep track of the time?
C:\Users\UserName\Documents\A2A\FSX\Cessna172\C172RLog.dat
You can't manually edit its properties, but you can make back-ups and swap around as required. There's also an option to turn damage off temporarily in the shift 3 menu if that's any help.
Cheers,
Nick

Yes as Nick says the .dat files is the magic one and you can move and swap with friends etc also. If a .dat file isn't found on start of the 172 sim then a new one will be generated.
thanks,
Lewis
