Is there a way to lower the sensitive of the elevator. The normal control in Prepared does not seem to help.

There's a "simulated elevator force" slider incorporated in the shift + 3 menu Brad. To be honest, it's not very well documented (I think it was missed from the manual because it was added after the initial release) but there's some more info on it in this thread.
Other than that, various hardware differs tremendously in its 'feel' by the sounds of it. When I first started using the A2A GA add-ons, the pitch sensitivity took a bit of getting used to (I use a cheapish joystick) but I've since adapted to it and it now feels completely natural.

Check your sensitivities are at full and null zones are minimal
