Installing C172 when C182 already installed

Hi, quick question, i have the C182 pro in p3dv3 and want to get the C172. I already have the latest acu-sim. Should i just go ahead and install the C172 in p3dv3? Do I need to install acu-sim latest again?
Just checking before making a mess of my installation

Hi,

Yes just run the installer for the C172 and then run the latest updater. It will check your other installations and not update them again if they're already up to date. If done this multiple times and never had a problem.

Yes, you not only should but must run the update to make sure all your Accu-sim core files are the latest otherwise you might end up with old files in which the old aircraft isnt present.

I did not realise this and found that my C172 was running version 1.0. Will be very glad to get this up to 2.61 in the next few minutes. I have to say V1.0 was phenomonally stable regardless. Didn't have a single problem with it.

Yup when you run the updater your 172 will get a big update then with lots of updates and new bits simulated.
