P3d V3 compatability
Hi there, apparently P3D v3 has changed its folder system? Do you know if your products will work off the shelf with P3d v3 or will we have to wait for a new installer?

Re: P3d V3 compatability
Hello,
from what we are seeing all is good for running P3D native simulations in v3 from us. Obviously we don't support and have not tested any FSX products on the P3D platform.
thanks,
Lewis

Re: P3d V3 compatability
Hi Lewis,
I'm thinking of un-installing the Comanche from P3D v2.5 and putting it in v3.0. Does the Comanche installer detect 3.0 as well as 2.5 ?

Hey Paul,
as far as I am aware yes, my and the teams experience is just with the beta at present but we didn't detect anything, not sure if anything changes with the release.
thanks,
Lewis

Re: P3d V3 compatability
Thanks, I'll give it a try tomorrow. Getting the Comanche and PMDGs NGX out of v2.5 and into v3 will be a fitting start to the process of reinstalling add-ons.
See you Saturday.

Re: P3d V3 compatability
Lewis,
From a license perspective, is there any problem with installing the P3D native aircraft into multiple copies of P3D on the same PC? I'm not planning on deleting my 2.5 installation at least for a while, but I'd like to play around with getting the 172 and Comanche working in 3.0.
Thanks,
Perk

Re: P3d V3 compatability
Hello,
please wait for the actual V3 products to be released. The new installers will be released very soon for use in P3D V3, free of charge for our P3D users of course.
thanks,
Lewis
