With the brakes off (no indication of brakes on), I apply full power and it takes about 3 to 4 seconds before the aircraft begins to move. Obviously, this is not realistic. Any idea how to fix this? Everything else works great. All other aircraft work fine, even the FSX default 172.

I updated to 6/28 before I posted the problem. I have had the same problem since day one back in January. I usually fly the PMDG737NGX, but decided to get current, so tried the C172 again. Minor problem, just annoying!

It's normal behavior on all A2A aircraft. A bit quirky but it's an extremely minor issue.
Re: Full Throttle Required to Move C172
I just ran a test and found that if the RPM is below 800, the aircraft will not immediately roll if I let go of the brakes. On the other hand if the RPM is at or above 800 it will immediately roll the moment I release the brakes, there is no hesitation at all.
If I release brakes and then slam the throttle from full idle to full power, the airplane instantly moves. I don't have any delay at all?

Re: Full Throttle Required to Move C172
Yes there is only the realistic slight delay upon the movement as the prop gets to speed and as tested during the test flight phase of development on grass + tarmac, both of which will be slightly different. Also remember its possible that if your brakes are not correctly calibrated you might have your brakes engaged as the RED BRAKES message doesnt display until the brakes are well applied, that an FSX quirk and a good calibration or slight deadzone to get rid of noise can help with older pedals.
