Towing

Post by Matt_B_1978 »

I know on the 182 from A2A you can attach a towing hook and pull the aircraft around by hand, but will this be done on the 172 Trainer as an update?

I would love to have that feature on the C172 as well. It's so much fun to "tow" the C182 to the gas pump on the local airport or to push it into a parking position that you can't reach with engine power. It just adds so much realism to the experience.

Would be cool to have on all GA planes. It comes in handy with the cub all the time.

You're right. Especially on soft fields close to MTOW

The tow bar is a cool feature and it would be great to have it in the C172 and Cherokee :)

Bump.

Just decided to keep this thread alive.

I was just thinking, along with what the others had said previously, it is nice to have this feature on the C182 and Comanche, and would be great on the C172 as well. But we can only hope for this to come in an Accu-sim update soon!

I think I remember this coming up a while back with the Cherokee, as well; it's a shame we haven't seen anything by now. For the aircraft that support towing, I don't think there's a single flight that goes by in which I don't use it... and then sorely miss it with the aircraft that don't support it.

I'm all for it, it's a great feature but I would guess it is a way to get folks to buy the other aircraft for the features they have.
Take care, Brett
