Requesting a repaint from the experts here

Post by jellard »

my dad flies a c172N out of KMBT in murfreesboro, tn. I have flown in it several times, as well as my children.I'd love to have the paint and interior textures for our amazing c172R. here are a couple pictures, if you need any more information please ask. there are some pros here that do fantastic work, and I sure would be proud to fly this on. it used to have red interior, but has been redone now in grey. Looks really nice. I'd do it, but I'm up to my neck in C182s! If no-one else wants it, I'll do it, but it'll be some time later on. :)

A couple of question J.

1: Have the main wheel pants had a blue stripe added to match the nose wheel?

2: A picture of the wing tips, upper and lower, would be very helpful.

Apart from that it's going well.

Oh, the logo on the engine cover. I wasn't able to find it on the internet so I had to make it. What IS it? :?

Imageey ron, as far as I can tell, the main gear fairings lack the blue stripe, but I'll make sure. I will get the wingtips uploaded soon. the logo on the engine says "Lasar" I believe it's an aviation service company. heres a logo:

there aren't any blue stripes on the main fairings. waiting to hear from dad if they ever were there, but it's doubtful. also waiting to get a few wing pictures for ya, but im sure they are just white all around. stand by, pics on request lol

there is a solid red band around the wingtips and some blue as well, you can kinda see in a couple pics

I've had to guess at what the wing tips are like. Did you realise that they are both different? That's how I've done them. :D

I'll parcel it up some time this evening and post a couple of screens.

Here ya go. Fairly close I'd say. I've uploaded it to AVSIM so it'll be available any time soon.
