Mouse wheel could not change radio frequency

Post by chanwt »

Hi, I have been using the C172 for few weeks.
Until tonight, I just noted I could not use the mouse wheel to change the frequency anymore.
I did work before.
The mouse arrow has changed to "hand" when i move the cursor on the knob, the frequency simply doesnt changed with teh mouse wheel.
(i.e.- confirm the mouse wheel is working)
Everything else on the 2d panel is working with mouse.

I am not sure it is related but i was connecting a Saitek flying yoke to teh computer and install Saitek drive

Have install the latest update.
Have tried uninstall and re-install the C172 (i.e.- have not manually delete A2A folder in /FSX though.
C172 is the only plane from A2A

What else can I tried? please

it is working now provided i roll the wheel when pressing the mouse key!

but it is so inconvenient caused i have to use both hand for it.

any idea where is it so?

i am pretty sure, it was working without the mouse key few days ago.

Hello,

I would suggest checking your mappings as these are all mappable controls so can be changed either by you the user or by third party programs.

thanks,

If I remember correctly (based on my experience in the 180), sometimes just left clicking the knob first allows the scroll wheel to work.

Good luck and happy flying!

i an afraid i don't have that luck with my plane. Tax anyway

Lewis, when u refer the mapping, do u mean the key assignment within Fsx?

if yes ,then which item referring to this "turning" action...? i don't have a clue after checking the whole list.
