Hello,
I want to start learning about both GPS's in the Trainer, but having searched the forum, I could not find a link to the manual's.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks
Allan

Re: Where to find the GPS manual
Hello,
The GPS's if you do no use a third party package are the default types so you can use the FSX material, learning centre etc to learn how to use these.
Thanks,
Lewis

Re: Where to find the GPS manual
Thanks.
So I can find the guides for both in FSX.
Up till now, I have flown with the GPS (both), switched off in the Shift-F3 option.
But now would like to learn to use both/either.

Yes, correct Allan.aprewett wrote: So I can find the guides for both in FSX.
If you want to pull up the file in your browser (rather than the small FSX screen) you are looking for the file "UsingTheGPS.htm"
It's in your FSX directory in the FSWeb\LearningCenter\Navigation folder.

Re: Where to find the GPS manual
Just to add to Ozzies comment as I understand you are not aware of this particular feature of FS. Before going direct to the file I would first recommend going via the learning centre. There's a whole lot there you might never otherwise know about. One of the most underrated parts of the sim IMO.

Thanks both.
Will give it a look.
Maybe that info could be in the Trainer Manual (if not already)

Re: Where to find the GPS manual
Lewis makes a good point - there is quite a bit of "stuff" in the learning center. ACES did a fine job when they put together FSX. I would have liked to seen a menu option to open the material in a browser; nevertheless, good material is there.
