Egt and FF gauge

Just wondering why my egt and fuel flow gauge needles are pointing all the way down? Is this normal or should they be indicating a specific level? I do have the latest service pack. Thanks.

Please disregard. I had a look again at the manual and found my answer.

What was the issue?

They were pointing all the way down because I was at idle. Should've known that they would increase as my rpms increased. As I recall, when I flew the 152's back in the '90s we didn't have the gauge. So this is new to me.
