First, a photo I meant to share the end of May, of the engine running but the shadow not reflecting that reality:Image

Okay! Inaugural flight of Macon Flying Club N3845Q! (okay, second flight, after some MAJOR problems caused by Saitek panel oddness, but that's another story. This is after a complete overhaul....). We're going to take a short hop from K89 to KIRK about 30 miles north. My house lies in between these airports, and we have a lovely lake to view this evening.

First, climb in, buckle up, instruct my lovely bride how to properly buckle set her seat, etc. Then we'll get started.

Image

Climbing out, a perfect evening. Our kids walked downtown to the annual Soybean Festival, bought carnival ride bracelets, and enjoyed their evening, leaving me a four hour window to get this flight in. On the left, is Long Branch Lake, splitting into two legs as one heads north.

Cockpit view:

Due to my Saitek oddities, I'm having difficulty controlling the lights on the Panel, but it looks AWESOME! I love it. Here I'm on final to KIRK, enjoying seeing my real life tail number displayed in the ATC menu! YES!

Awesome pics!

One note - It appears that you need to include my edited version of the file "c172_c3_l" in the vc repaint. I can tell from the pictures that A2A's original is loading on the dash instead when lights are turned on. Notice how the screw heads appear?

Taildraggin - I suggest double-checking to make sure that's included in your package. You can pull the file from my N4625K repaint package if you wish.

Ah, those "ghost" screws? I hadn't noticed until you mentioned it.

Yes indeed. You need the modified version. You can either grab it from the link in my previous post, or wait to hear from taildraggin.

That texture needs to be saved in a certain BMP format to work properly. I forgot the exact settings off the top of my head, sorry.

Also in addition to the previous post, there was another file that needed to be converted to a different format  but all is done now, uploaded to AVSIM (live sometime today) and dropbox link above has been updated as well. Thanks for all of the interest in this project :D
