I recently bought the Accusim Cessna 172 for FSX. Now I fly in P3D, but was unaware that there was some sort of license upgrade available to install into P3D? Could anyone please let me know if this is the case - the original software was quite expensive and I can't really purchase it again. Most grateful for any inputs,
Torchy

Hello,
If you are now a P3D user you will have to purchase relevant license and native P3D simulation.
Thanks,
Lewis

Lewis
A couple of questions I have before I do a clean install of P3Dv2.3
Does the download C172_P3D_Academic_v2.0 I purchased and have on my PC include all Accusim add-ons, is it the latest version, and is it compatible with P3Dv2.3 ? I assume this is all I will have to re-install to get my C172 back and running in P3Dv2.3
How do I best un-install my C172 from P3Dv2.2 before I un-install P3Dv2.2 ? Please be specific on what the file name is to run the un-install if there is one. Additionally are there any remaining files or directories I will need to manually delete?
My intent to get a clean install of P3Dv2.3 is to uninstall A2A C172 and all my ORBX files then un-install P3Dv2.2 per LM instructions including remaining misc. directories then install P3Dv2.3 and re-install the A2A C172 file mentioned above then all my Orbx scenery.
Thanks in advance for your help and did I miss anything ?

Not Lewis, but what is your end goal with the 172 in 2.3? Do you want a fresh start or keep your hours you have built up? A normal un install will leave the A2A folder in you my documents folder.....that will save your current aircraft state...delete that if you want a fresh zero hour restart.....once you have 2.3 installed, then you would need to install the 172v2.0, then do the 7/15/14 update and you should be good to go.......

Thanks "Not Lewis"
I am still curious as how to un-install my P3D version of A2A C172, is there an un-installer as part of the installer package? If there is and I do an un-install from what you say the files in my document folder will remain so to keep flight hours etc... that would be fine. If there is not an un-installer I assume I would have to go back into my P3D folder and delete any remaining A2A files before installing P3Dv2.3 into that folder.
My intent is to get a clean fresh start with P3Dv2.3 and in doing so the only add-ons I have in my version 2.2 are ORBX sceneries and my A2A C172 so I wanted to clean them out as well and then do a fresh install of A2A and my ORBX sceneries after I load the new P3Dv2.3

Re: P3D Ver2.3 Cessna 172
There is an uninstaller in the P3D/A2A folder.....also from the remove programs in the control panel...once run, be sure to check for any remaining files as well as the my document A2A files if you do not want to keep your hours etc. Then once your P3D is set back up, simply re install the 172 and run the 7/15/14 update
