For an old schooler who does not Facebook, Twitter or anything else thats "instant", and is way downunder in Australia, this thread is invaluable. I know how busy you must be Lewis, not enough hours in the day. I just want to say a very sincere Thank You, for making the time and effort available to provide these 'inside' glimpses of Oshkosh. Enjoy yourself, you lucky b......d.

Re: A2A Simulations - Oshkosh 2014
Okie dokie another day. Spent most of today in the hanger with Scott working on some last minute things prior to Mondays start.
A beautiful Bonanza at the Hotel Ramp, yes that's right a Hotel with its own aircraft parking, now that's pretty damn special!
Another aircraft at the hotel parking,
Me and Jeff on yet another Gold cart ride. The EAA provide loads of great staff to help us exhibitors out, they have been invaluable in helping us move around the site often with heavy bags.
Starting to fill up a little more today, this is one row on one camping area out of many, many, many.
Not sure what this is yet but snapped a photo whilst walking past as its really unique, total skid no wheels.
A few images showing some of the aircraft parked up,
The big military looking Navion standing high and proud. There are a few of these dotted around the grounds.
A Cherokee D, note the extra window on the side of the cabin.
Scott's Dream aircraft, he stopped for a good amount of time at this one admiring it. Speed and hauling power in one package is rather nice. The pilots where also on hand for a good chat about the type.
This aircraft everyone here should recognize. Its parked up right behind our Comanche and is a real classic in our eyes!

Re: A2A Simulations - Oshkosh 2014
I cannot put into words just how big this place is even half empty as the show hasn't even started yet!
A beautiful RV painted up in some classic BBD warbird colours!
Making sure the trip doesn't interrupt things too much, a bit of work in the booth,
Me and Jake watched two beautiful twins come in on the runway next to our spot, here's one of them taxing to its area after landing

Re: A2A Simulations - Oshkosh 2014
A2A make sims, not tents. It could explain why we had a few issues
And as we try to work out how these new fangled tent technologies work yet more arrivals kept coming in
And to end the day yet another golf cart selfie as we get a lift back to the hotel
Ill post more tomorrow as and when I can.
thanks
Lewis

Lewis,
You are definitely not disappointing with all the pictures! Thanks very much for taking the time to post so many. I might add, while still helping everybody here on the forums and helping out with preparations at the booth. Amazing job! My hat's off to you!

Ouch, hope you all survived the night and got some rest. Saw the live web cam and looks like you had a little Rex t-storms action. Thanks for all the pics!
Jim
Ok, just looked at your local radar and big storm cell moving in your direction as of 2am your time. Hope you all stay safe.

Thanks for all of the pics so far Lewis......but the real question...........are we going to get a goPro vid of your T-33 ride so that we may see the sacrifices you make for the A2A community?
