Yes, I have this issue as well. C172 updates, 180 Cherokee updates, Comanche updates, but the 182 won't with the same error message. I have also re downloaded and reinstalled. Keep getting the same error. Weird. Never had an issue before.

"Windows cannot find C:\ PROGRA~2\MICROS~1\ MICROS~1\\ A2AUdate.EXE" Make sure you typed the name correctly, and try again. Im re posting this again, maybe someone has a solution.

Are you downloading the latest updater and running it, sounds like your downloading to a temp location?

thanks,

Hi Lewis, et al,

I have downloaded the A2A_Update_09_15_15.

It updates my 172, Cherokee and Comanche.

It chokes on the 182: Warning! C182 Prepar3d V2 Files Not Found
This installer cannot locate the required files to
upgrade. A native Prepar3d VERSION 2 of
the C182 Trainer needs to be installed first.
You can find this version at the A2A Online
Store or other merchants that carry A2A
Simulations products.
-A2A Simulations Support Team

The 182 is loaded and has been in my Prepar3d v2.5 for 6 months and is flyable. I have reinstalled from a fresh download from my vendor and redownloaded the updater. No matter what, I am presented with the same error message.

Please advise,
Clayton

Thanks for the update, all seems well.
I have a request. I don't know if this is true for the entire GA fleet; I notice that with the Comanche, the ADF frequency is not remembered when the simulator is shut down. Ie. the frequency I left it on is changed when I re start FSX or PPd 2.5, it certainly is not a big deal, but would be nice if it too was stored like the com and nav frequencies.

While I am on the subject, of storing, is it possible to have the door added to that request as well? The pilots window remembers the last condition fine but the door is always locked when I start the simulation.

Scott and company, thanks for the great GA simulations you produce. The passion you all have for aviation shows with every aircraft you have released.
Please keep up the excellent work.

I am simply running the link I found here, the latest A2A updater from your "Accu-sim 09_15_15. download". I just hit the run button, and this is what I get. I have not changed anything, this is what your download does. I am stuck, it does not work, and I dont know how this happend. Thanks for your help.

You will need to save the file to your computer first and then run it from your computer

Thanks Scott for sorting it! I have good news and I have bad news (LOL):

Good news: Install works - downloads and applies the update (thought it seemed to take forever to go through the "close processes stage" - much longer than usual).

Bad news: I got that pop-up error immediately after the C182 update (I always had it popping up twice - before and after).

I re-ran the updater. It now skips the C182 update (good) but still pops up that window after the C182 step.

So ... I'd say there's still something "shonky" about the script - but at least we now get an updated C182!

Adam, what error exactly are you still getting?

Exactly the same pop-up as before (as shown in a couple of previous posts). Just re-iterating: it happens *at the end of/after* the C182 update call - even when it steps through and finds it updated. Totally reproducible.

Maybe it's part of the script cleanup <?>, the original install part having been cured/fixed.

Well after much trial and error, I tried "Run as administrator" that seem to work, but it said you were already updated. It did fix and update a few things. Thanks for being such a good sport.
