C172 mixture rod retexture

Post by Wild Bill Kelsoe »

Hi, I would like to edit the mixture rod (behind the red knob) texture in order to visualize better the mixture percentages by putting tick marks at -25%, -50%, -75% and -100 % (leaned). Which texture file and which part of that file should I edit?

thanks

I don't paint but I like that idea, would make leaning a bit easier on the fly :D

I usually lean by EGT temperature but on starting up, at least I want a 'cracked' throttle (1/8th its range) so might as well do a tick mark or a white band where 1/8th positive throttle is.

Of course the other alternative would be to turn on tool tips from fsx options but that would ruin all fraps recordings, specially after realism.
