Installed Acceleration Expansion Pack last...problems?

Post by aviator1213 »

I installed FSX Deluxe, then C172 zip file then Core 2.0.

A2A C172's skin is missing, so I looked to see what went wrong. I think the problem is I didn't install the Acceleration Expansion Pack, which I do have.

Installing that now but wonder if I need to reinstall A2A C172 and core 2.0...if so do I need to uninstall them first?

What is the best thing to do?

Hi aviator,

If I were doing it, I would uninstall the C-172, reboot, then reinstall the C-172 and update v2.0. However, you could try installing them over the top and probably be OK.

Hope this helps.

A quick reinstall of the Accu-sim C172 Trainer and the latest core update wont harm anything so is the best route to go. Remember to restart your machine after the installations.

No need to uninstall first?

Not in this case nope, as you are installing directly over an unused version so it will simply refresh the files and basicly make sure there all still in place after your Acceleration installation.

If it's been used, then what can I do?

I don't mind if user data is wiped clean as long as no problems.
