Do I need the update?

I'm a bit confused by other posts about updates. Maybe I'm just getting old...

I bought the 172 for FSX on 6/22/14 from the a2a store.

Do I already have the latest accu-sim update? or should I download it?

My aircraft.cfg says:

[accusim]

version = 1.65

Yes, you need to install the latest AccuSim Core update (v2.0 at the moment).

If ever in doubt there should be no harm in just downloading and installing the latest update.
