Flight Planning On Mini Stick On GPS

Post by nullack »

Gday fellas

So Im confused :)

If I want to select more than one waypoint for a flight plan in the C172 using the mini gps that sticks onto the side window, how exactly do I do that?

I want to goto a VOR, then NDB, then an airport and the default P3d flight planner doesnt seem to understand this

So how do I did it?

Thanks and forgive me :)

I don't know if it works the same and am not in a position to check right now (I will later), but in the default FSX planner, you could add waypoints to a plan by simply clicking on the flightplan path line and dragging the cursor, now with attached lines, to the waypoint you want to add. That worked whether it was a Navaid, an airport, or just a spot in space that is visible on the map (e.g. a lake).

Might be worth trying?

Cheers,

You can generally build a flight plan using FSX flight planner, though it will pick the route for you, the only way around this is to create a route with a start point and end point within FSX then edit the flight plan your self, this requires you to click on the route line and drag it to a vor / nbd.

you can also use a freeware program like PLAN G (req internet connection)

Hope this helps :D
